simSchool in Teacher Education

Develop Your Path to Excellence

Current and future teachers require increasingly complex knowledge, skills, and dispositions as they work with more diverse students requiring more differentiated instruction. When and where can they go to get this experience to hone their craft?

Teacher education programs are pushed to provide more classroom field experiences just as mentor schools face their own pressures and time constraints. K-12 school systems and their teachers are put on notice, they are judged by their students’ test scores. Mentor teachers can ill afford to give up too much of their class time to teacher field experiences.

So where can teachers go to practice skills or develop new ones? In education preparation, it means more time in the classroom – practice, reflection, more practice. In professional development, it means workshops, which can’t reproduce the ethos of the classroom.

Classroom simulation programs, like simSchool, provide that much needed additional experience putting teaching theory into practice in a low risk environment.

simSchool is designed to enhance teacher performance by giving teacher candidates the opportunity to teach in unlimited, diverse classrooms. It is affordable and accessible 24/7 365 days a year.

Watching the Clock

Enhanced Field Experience Hours

simSchool provides a safe environment where educators can explore both familiar and unfamiliar concepts in a new and innovative way: creating and teaching virtual, artificially intelligent students that behave as real students would.

The sim students are virtual but the learning is very real.

Increased Access to Diverse Students

simSchool’s engine can generate 10 trillion different student profiles and enable the authoring of 10 trillion unique instructional tasks.

The underlying intelligence algorithms of simSchool draw upon widely accepted and published theories of intelligence and emotional modeling to drive the behaviors of simulated students to facilitate a highly flexible, dynamic teaching experience on demand.

Affordable and Accessible

simSchool is device independent, cros-platform compatible, cloud-based, operating at scale, with live authoring and rich data reporting.
