KSU-Project OWL

Kennesaw State University (KSU) located northwest of Atlanta in Cobb County is the third-largest university in Georgia. KSU offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in education, health, business, the humanities, the arts, science, and math. Its broad graduate degree programs include nursing, business, information systems, conflict management, public administration, education, and professional writing. KSU’s Ph.D. program offers a Doctorate of Education in Leadership for Learning, Doctorate of Business Administration, and Doctorate of Nursing.

Always looking for innovative ways to engage young students. In 2011, KSU embarked on Project OWL (Online World of Learning) in which students work to solve problems related to the STEM curricula in a 3-D virtual world. Marietta Center for Advanced Academics (MCAA) is one of the participating schools, and we at Tech Matters are assisting the MCAA teachers and students learn to operate and work within the virtual world.
