Southern Polytechnic State University offers 4-year degree programs in science and technology with a practical approach that is career based and balanced.
The School of Computing and Software Engineering offers studies of computing and its applications, which includes science, engineering and technology. They are installing a Game Design and Development lab in 2008 to prepare for a proposed Gaming Design degree program, which if approved by the Board of Regents, would begin in Fall 2009. Tech Matters is collaborating with SPSU and local K-12 schools, colleges, and Universities to help provide the pertinent design information for game design and development for serious gaming, or educational gaming.
