Tech Matters is working with Dr. Karen Smits, the Tech Club faculty sponsor, to provide this year’s 3rd and 4th grade Tech Club participants a unique learning experience. The students are using Scratch (a free downloadable computer programming application developed at MIT) to program a story about their school. They are exposed to storyboarding, developing images, and programming. This is an excellent way for these students to set goals, use trial and error, and learn by doing.
